Fijian golfer, Vijay Singh won the season opening event on the 2007 PGA Tour with a 2 shot victory over Adam Scott. Singh started the final round 3 clear and after he birdied the first 2 holes and Scott bogeyed the second he was 6 strokes up and on his way to victory. Scott to his credit never gave up and reduced the lead to 2 shots after birdies on 15 and 16 but a 3 putt at the 17th ended his chances. With a par on the last hole to finish on 14 under-par 278 and take the win.
